Bleach Dye Workshop

Join artist Emily Popp for an afternoon of bleach dying and other wearable art experiments! We will give clothes and other textiles new life with a variety of techniques. Spray, dunk, twist, and layer — expect a fun, relaxed environment with lots of opportunities to try out things.

EVENT ENROLLMENT DETAILS:

This is a mixed ages workshop for youth as young as ten years and adults of all ages! Space is limited, so be sure to enroll each participant individually to ensure that there is space. Guardians who intend to stick around should also enroll. Participants should arrive with the understanding that this is an intergenerational workshop centering gentle instruction for all ages. Adults can enter their own names or an additional emergency contact in the guardian section of the registration form.

This is an IN-PERSON, OUTDOOR workshop for kids and adults. This workshop will be held outside Arts + Literature Laboratory (111 S Livingston St) unless otherwise indicated in pre-workshop communications and is limited to ten participants, so expect an intimate and flexible learning atmosphere. Students will have access to the bathrooms inside the exhibition space. Please arrive wearing masks and weather-appropriate clothing. This workshop may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or any changing public health guidelines.
